just sold my car complete with pc system

and instead or building one im thinking of just buying the pre built unit

I had same trouble with downloading Riderunner. My antivirus is NOD32v3, when I disabled antivirus protection downloading was completed sucussefully. Try it.

So, is there a scheduled date for when the "basic" version will be "no longer available"? Or is NISU going to give out bandwidth for free software forever?

The free/basic version of the software will always be available free for end users.

I just noticed the new version. I noticed there isn't any feedback on the new version. Is it just an update to what was RoadRunner or is it a major change? Can I use the Update to update from RoadRunner, or should I install the RideRunner full install first? Will my settings from Roadrunner work in RideRunner?

Yes, mostly just a name change, and I'd highly recomend using the installer. It will not overwrite any existing setting(s) files.

Thanks. The new version installed just fine. I copied the rr.ini and changed the paths to the new RideRunner folder and everything is working great.

I have taken a look at this page.

What intrigues me is the I.R. vision implementation.
Any chance of telling me what hardware is involved in that 'Night Vision' ?

Any onter configuration I have to do since I have the older RR version or will this new one just take over all of the configurations from the old one?
