It does need a fast cpu, I've got an amd be2350 in my carpc, runs like a charm...

That's a good point on the pressing and holding, I can modify the actionscript to respond to a hold, i'll add that to my list of things to do

the easy fix for that is to use BUTTONDOWN, BUTTONUP in the fscommand

for example

@pcpete: can you give me an example of where I can place /discardable in your skin to duplicate the crash issue so I can look into it ? I know you rather have the components moved, but /discardable needs to be fixed regardless.

neat stuff.. doesnt seem sluggish at all (me fast pc)

Runs really smooth here too, but it seems to hit a wall after x amount of skins are open, it's like rr stops responding to commands, cpu may be at 60%, so it seems some other resource ( handles , #files opened) gets maxed out, but it could be cpu, I don't know....

its not running so smooth for me... cpu stays at 85%+.. and when i click audio RR hangs. This is on a 2+ year old amd 3200.... On board video

hmm, cpu doesn't seem to old or slow, I've got a 2xcore amd be2350, when I first load the skin i get about 2% on idle...

I've got 2GB ram, on first load rr uses about 64MB for me...

what do you get?
