winamp not resuming music on restart

I also had the same problem as music would not resume after a shut down or standby of the pc.
All I did was untick hibernate reload in RR config page 3, all then worked ok for me.

i unticked it on mine and tried it. RR comes back up with "stop" for the musics playing status. im going to check my winamp settings and see what i can find...

i googled "winamp resume" and came across some plugin's to resume playback after a crash or a close. well see how these work....

This months release pretty much fixes this issue, I have tried the newest build in a VM XP and just left RR playing and did a restart via the start menu, and when i restarted RR it did in fact jump back to wheres about it was when it windows closed it.

WINAMP resume plugins are not practical here... RR is in control of winamp
but oddly could work... the whole issue is that when winamp is STOPPED its track position is lost

the new RR uses last KNOWN PLAYING position

I'm having the same problem with the new release 4/18.

If I play a song and exit and then open rr again it will continue where it left off.

If I play a song and restart, when it somes back up it starts playing the first song in the playlist from the start.

I have resumemusic=2 in the rr.ini.

The second number in the resume.ini is 0 when I restart the computer, but has a value when I exit.

dzyenment, u installed RR via the INSTALLER????
(a exe replacement will not do!)

also... the concept is a hack, since when u restart a PC, winamp is told to stop by the OS, therefore RR cannot get the playing song info... but the hack uses the last known play position...

could always use that plugin...

well can't be worse then mine. at first RR and wmp would resume my play list and music where i left off. and all out of blue if i listen to music(heart breaker) and swhich to video to watch music video and swich it back to music and fast forward a fewsong and turn off the car and start it back up the next day. it would resum the same song (heart breaker). it wouln't resum where music where i left anymore. strangh.
