Rr + wmp

Hi Guys
Well i know RR runs gr8 with Winamp
but i need to run Road Runner with WMP...

I did read a post by Guino

you have to make a dll that uses WMP calls.

lol i dont think you guys get it. Its not as easy as sitting down one afternoon and replacing winamp as RR's media player. Essentially you need to create your own application that reads media players function returns then translate them so that RR can make use of it. if it was something easily achievable it'd already be done.

I actually did that yesterday, so you can expect a prototype/test WMP player for RR available on the next release. However there's no Equalizer support on WMP -- it's on the player itself but not on the control itself used by other applications... I think there's some stupid licensing deal about using the WMP control for that.
