If you lost buttons and labels, it is mostly skin related. What skin are you using? Try to reinstall the skin.
Ok first off I love this software its a piece of art, however there is a hell of a lot about it i don't know. For some reason I really can't understand I have lost the music library button off of my main menu list in Ride Runner. It was there when I first installed the program and for the first week or so but since then it's now gone. Winamp is fine and I have not done any kind of update since the issue materialised but now when I start Ride Runner I get a whole host of button options such as Gas prices, HD Radio, Sirus, Video iguidance etc but no music library. I am not by any means discounting that I have screwed up the program but how do I go about fixing it?? I reinstalled the program but this didn't work.
Any help would be much appreciated

If you're using one of those customizable skins (DFX, Carwings Dynamic, etc), then it's possible you removed/changed the button on the skin by accident. You should look into how to setup the skin with your button choices and/or remove and re-install the skin to see if the defaults are what you're looking for.

I'm using the default skin that came with the software. Not quite sure how I managed to alter the skin but it must be what I did, I will have a go with the skin editor and see what that does and post my findings.

Carwings Dynamic lets you change the buttons on the skin I believe by pressing and holding the button on the menu you want to change.

u could delete, the skin.ini / exectbl.ini(if u modded it)
and reinstall RideRunner... those files will get put back.
and u will be back to begining on carwings
skin.ini contains the layout of the menu buttons....
pushing and holding will bring u to the button chooser
-Thanks
