I still have RoadRunner in the car, purely because it works and does what I want, to be honest not much new has been added since that I need.

However I still have to keep downloading RideRunner to keep testing that my plugins still work (I could say stuff it, and if someone else is put out because my plugins that they use no longer work with RideRunner that's their tough, but I don't)

I am getting a little bit tired of people complaining about free software with one of the best support forums around.

And what about us that spend our time developing for it? IT's not free of our time.

One of the reasons why I am also migrating my plugins to CF and any other frontend that has a plugin facilty. However my personal is still RoadRunner.

I've not seen it yet, mainly because I am not using RideRunner in the car and because the PC's that do have RideRunner on, for testing only, get the latest version as it's released, because it is easy to do on a desktop.

Cost is not always about money. Many of us have invested a lot of our time and effort into RR, some from the days it was called RemediaCar.

Have you noticed that there have not been as many skins being released as there used to be, and that the current ones are not being updated as often as they used to be?

People are getting fed up with this situation and moving away.

And what that means is you are going to have newbie after newbie coming in, not knowing how to install it, how to skin for it, and also being p'eed off with the nag screen, at least it seems to have taken attention away from the red ball, without the stalwarts being there to hold there hands.

Also a lot of the plugins are not being updated which means they may either stop working, or the install instructions become outdated.

I may have missed something, but that is it, for now.

I just made this post in a similar thread:

    RR Reminder screen

When I do get the screen, I never see it on startup, it just sits in background sometimes - wasn't sure if anyone knew why this might happen. The other thread has more info.

Yup he mentioned it in the thread jbradshaw linked to. Why would talking about all this be pointless if it's being changed in the next release? If anything we've made a difference wouldn't ya say?

I hope you're not part of the RideRunner team... cause if you are, you just showed the world my point. They (you) have sold out, and you are the perfect example. What have I been saying this whole time? That RR doesn't give a flying pig about the community here anymore. If they (you) did, I figure they wouldn't put you out front to deal with the users, cause you suck at it.

Mitch, nobody really expects you to get it,after all you don't use it or have a carpc do you.

And yes i see the feature is changing so it can be clicked through, lets hope you/the nisu team don't see that as an opportunity to leave it up longer.
