OSK And Web Commands

hi all

im kinda new to rr programming so bare with me

im trying to make a bi-lang osk for the web browser ( english - hebrew )
so what i did it to create another skin file which contains the other osk ( named osk2.skin )
and put a button in both to load them ( currently "EXIT||APPOSK2" / "EXIT||APPOSK" )

now i just need to figure out how to save the text entered in one osk and put it on the other osk when i call it

lets say for example "abc" is in english
and "xyz" is in hebrew

i want to enter "abc" in the english osk then move to the hebrew osk and enter "xyz" and i want that both will appear..

from my little understanding i think i need to use the "OSKTOVAR" and "OSKTEXT" commands but i can't figure out how to call the hebrew osk with osktovar command and how to get the text from the variable
or those commands don't work in apps and ment only for general usage?

any other way doing this?
maybe saving the textbox text or something else?

help would be much appriciated

Yes, you are correct in that those osktoxx cmds are for general usage and aren't gonna be usefull towards the app osk..

What i think you could do is use my "TxtBoxToVar" cmd from RRExtended plugin and then you could grab the text, exit the screen and load the other osk with the saved text for the other on thats in the var...

"TxtBoxToVar;Textvar||EXIT||APPOSK2||OSKTEXT;$Text var$"

"TxtBoxToVar;Textvar||EXIT||APPOSK||OSKTEXT;$Textv ar$"

Using that cmd and those two lines on your osk swap buttons, should work.

Just see my RRExtended Pluing thread. Hopefully you know how to add a plugin to RR, other wise post back and i'll give the downlow of it...

oh i have 1 more question regrading your rrextended

im using elite lite skin and i want to switch the mute button to volramper_dn/up ( like att )

there is a indicator for "MUTE" and the button call for "MUTE"

so what i did is changed the button to this command :
"RRVolRamper_Dn;90;30||SETIND;!ATT;ON||SWITCHBUTTO N;3>>RRVolRamper_Up;90;30||SETIND;!ATT;OFF||SWITCH BUTTON;3"

and the indictaor to "ATT"

is that ok?
i have vista here and it doesn't seem to do anything here
and i can't test it on my car atm so i just wanted to be sure i got the right line

Looks right..from memory anyway..too many features to remeber syntax of each cmd...

But ya, there will be problems when using that in vista as the mixer part of the code came from rr before mitch added vista support. At some point, I'll probably ask/get mitch bout using the vista part in there as well so that it works across the board.
