    RR video path

Anyone know of a way to designate more than one video folder in RR? I have a video folder on the carputer's hard drive for favorite videos and I use my thumb drive to rotate things I only want to watch once. I like watching things directly off of the thumb drive without having to coppy them to my hard drive first but with my path set to the thumb drive I can't get RR to look at my favorite video's folder.

Can you add a shortcut to the thumb drive in your video folder?

Dig in the plug-ins section of RR - there are at least 2 plugins that i know of (can't recall the names right now) that will work. They might be burried tho' so dig

Try using browse.rrl or SETPATH;<path to whatever folder>

OK so the shortcut idea didn't work. The video browser doesnít show the shortcut so I can't use it.
I Have also not been able to locate an appropriate plug-in, I will keep searching.

Sal R. can you explain browse.rrl or SETPATH further? Where would I enter those commands?

I've copied the text below from a post by somebody else but it sums it up nicely.

-You should make a BROWSE.RRL file (which is a simple text file) you create and place in ANY of your folders accessible in RR. The format for this file is basically:

    <FULL DRIVE+PATH>;<DISPLAY TITLE>

For instance, If I made the following BROWSE.RRL file and placed it at my D:\Music\ folder:

    E:\;>CD<
    F:\;>PEN DRIVE<
    C:\Windows\;Windows Folder

I used the "<" and ">" characters to simply "call attention".

    I hope that helps.

You can try what's described in this FAQ:
