i once had a look at road runner... what i could use in ride runner are these plugins:

    tire monitoring (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...on-plugin.html)
    rrgas/petrol (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...4-09-08-a.html)
    obd readout (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...6-12-09-a.html)
    maintenence (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...-question.html)
    trafic cams (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...a-testing.html)
    park distance+cam (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...on-plugin.html)
    psu monitor (http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/rr-p...umonitorr.html)

i tried to install the plugins but they never worked for me

also some sort of function that remembers the location of wifi hotspots could be nice... in denmark we have many spots at gas stations and also some private spots... could be usefull to have them auto stored as passing by and be able to drive back by navigation

any chance that they will be in the pro version? or maybe as sort of expansion pack?

+ Fennec support added (Browsertype=2) -- only for embedding on standard browser

But if you know of anything in that regards, let me know..

"Add to favorites" is a native button in the browser, in the "swipe left" menu (where the gear is). Close tab has never seemed to work properly. Also, the OSK is a little buggy with Fennec, hopefully this fixes it

+ Improved detection of End of Video playback (RR Core)
! Completely new Video Player Core, including Video Playlist Support Supported Players; MPC(Media Player Classic), WMP(Windows Media Player), VLC(Video Lan Client 1.0.0 reqs ActiveX) MS(Microsoft Directshow video player[part of DirectX])
any more info on the video support guino?

i have the july release of RR

I've been re writing my basic skin, and was just playing with the video player/browser page again.
I'm using winamp for audio and want to use MPC for video.
Are there any commands where you can have a file browser listing video files (this part i have) that you can just play the highlighted file without going thru a playlist.
Winamp keeps stealing all the video files and putting them in the bottom of my music playlist, which is a bit of a pain.

also are there any MPC specific commands for RR?
like prev, next, fast forward, ratio, pause, play. the RR built in ones seems really buggy for play/pause eg if you try pausing and playing several times quickly it just gives up, i had RR just quite several times, or the video file just stops and wont restart..

and i tried setting up a "seek;5" to give me a 5 second jump so i could fast forward in 5 second chunks, but that gave you 5 seconds from where you started playing, NOT from the current point in the time line.

That's an interesting concept.. if you load the video browser screen from the video player screen, you should be able to use "!SELECT" to play the video you selected from the browser, you should be able to position your video browser screen using /posx and /posy so it leaves the video visible somewhere.. this is definitely not all that simple, but should be feasible.

Regarding MPC, make sure you have the VERY LATEST MPC, and it should not fail the buttons/commands as long as you're not trying to embed it yourself (meaning: use the video player function of RR and not your own).

The "pro" version will only work with a specific set of hardware -- I'm not sure what functionality will be included.

As for including plug-in functionality in the RR core -- I don't think so. Lately more and more functionality has been pushed into plug-ins, so I wouldn't think any of it would be brought back in.

Have you tried posting in the plug-in forums to try and get the issues worked out?

These plugins should work fine with RideRunner, I just tried them on a virgin PC with only RideRunner, winamp and XP installed.
