Well.... not really JUST a request As mentioned, I have the code here already to do this. I already have that in the DFX skin, I just mentioned it would be nice to see it in the RR source instead of external scripting to do it.

If you use "Miami" for instance, RR defaults to the first it finds, which is Miami, AZ. I have code to check, and if more than one match is found, shows a list of cities to choose the correct one. This is REALLY helpful for foreign cities, as it will show you results for just typing "Frankfurt" for instance, and no need to use "Frankfurt, DE"

With some testing done last night by john, found few minor bugs that have been fixed.

He reported that for the most part that the new Internet retreival method seems to load the weather more quicker than the old way...IDK, he heavlly uses it so he'd would notice if there was any change in speed..

Also added a "WeatherDLing" indicator that shows while its retrieving the info, pointless on the DT, far too fast is on/off before screen updates, but would be more usable in car w/ a slower wifi connection.

I love the DFX 4 weather. One thing "if request" are being taken, in the radar screen to have bigger + and - buttons for the zooming in and out of the radar screen. I cannot hit the zoom unless I force my finger under the edge of the screen. I realize the current DFX radar screen is that of MS Visual Earth and is the native buttons for the zoom function, but if something could be skinned for larger buttons on the side or something that would be great! Just a thought.

I don't think the Weather Radar is part of the scope of this plugin.

IE it was/is not part of the RoadRunner/RideRunner main code, but something JohnWPB added to his skin.

That is skin related and has nothing to do with this thread...but will point john back to your post so that he can take that into consideration for the next update.

Ok, Understood, It's easy to get lost in all these plugins, whats part of RR, skin. etc...No problem, thanks.

Just an FYI.... There will be overlay buttons on top of the Weather Radar in the next release to allow easy zooming in and out of the radar map.
