    Here's a little hint to get you started (my laptop muting commands for when the tablet switches from AC to its internal battery or vice versa - a sign that the engine was just shut off or started):

    Code:
    /, ************************MUTE/PAUSE/SILENCE ON BATTERY
    "BATTERY0","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<PAUSE><<Battery+External<RESUME>"
    "BATTERY1","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<RADIOMUTE;ON><<Battery+External<RADIOMUTE;OF>"
    "BATTERY2","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<XMMUTE><<Battery+External<XMMUTE>"
    "BATTERY3","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<SRMUTE><<Battery+External<SRMUTE>"
    "BATTERY4","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<PLAY><<Battery+External<PLAY>"
    "BATTERY5","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<PLAY><<Battery+External<PLAY>"
    "BATTERY6","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<MUTE><<Battery+External<MUTE>"
    "BATTERY7","BYSTR;$ONBATTERY$;External+Battery<YT_PLAY><<Battery+External<YT_PLAY>"
    And each one of the above is tied to the audiosource variable so only one need be executed :
    Code:
    "TIMER","SETVAR;PSTATE1;$PSTATE$||SETVARBYCODE;pstate;powermon_powersrc||SETVAR;ONBATTERY;$PSTATE1$+$PSTATE$||BYVAR;CURRENTSOURCE;CHECKNETRADIO<<BATTERY1<<BATTERY2<<BATTERY3<<BATTERY4<<BATTERY5<<BATTERY6<<YTSWAP"

    you could make entries in exectbl.ini for navmute to do different things depending on what screen you are in.

    the example below is what i put into my exectbl.ini for my powermate.
    Code:
    /, Powermate Commands
    /, Menu
    "LEFT1","CTRLLEFT",menu.skin
    "RIGHT1","CTRLRIGHT",menu.skin
    "LEFTDOWN1","RRPREV",menu.skin
    "RIGHTDOWN1","RRNEXT",menu.skin
    "SINGLECLICK1","CTRLEXEC",menu.skin
    "DOUBLECLICK1","CTRLEXEC",menu.skin
    "LONGHOLD1","EXIT",menu.skin

    /, Audio Player
    "LEFT1","UP",audio_player.skin
    "RIGHT1","DOWN",audio_player.skin
    "RIGHTDOWN1","RRNEXT",audio_player.skin
    "LEFTDOWN1","RRPREV",audio_player.skin
    "SINGLECLICK1","SETNEXT",audio_player.skin
    "DOUBLECLICK1","PLAY",audio_player.skin
    "LONGHOLD1","EXIT",audio_player.skin

    /, Audio List
    "LEFT1","SELDL||UP",audio_browser.skin
    "RIGHT1","SELDL||DOWN",audio_browser.skin
    "LEFTDOWN1","SELDL||PGUP",audio_browser.skin
    "RIGHTDOWN1","SELDL||PGDOWN",audio_browser.skin
    "SINGLECLICK1","ADD1",audio_browser.skin
    "DOUBLECLICK1","!SELECT+",audio_browser.skin
    "LONGHOLD1","EXIT",audio_browser.skin

    So you could get leftdown to launch OBDII embedded app and rightdown to launch GPS app from menu.skin, and leftdown to launch OBDII embedded app and rightdown to launch audio_player.skin from external_gps.skin with only the powermate software and not girder. Any chance of some example code of how I might do this.........please, and I'll work the rest out from that .

    Cheers,

    Hey Gismo it would be cool if you could share where you put this in RR and the Skin, and if there is any other code or .exe needed, or if you could develop a plug in.

    I have been using ShutControl, but it does not work sometimes and no longer supported, and I come back to my car and it is in unwakeable Standby cause the battery has died.

    I am also trying another app here on MP3Car, but it is missing this feature of pause on battery.

    I like to set my shutdown time for 10 minutes, so if I run into the house or a store, my PC has not completely shut down, but I dont want 10 minutes of music to have gone by.

    As per my previous post......just a small bit of code to get me going, please . And confirmation that it should theoretically work too would be great .

    I'll have a go at some code later anyways but its not my forte.

    Thanks guys
