Thread: RR 09-22-2009 Release

Okay, my issue for this month is for album art on the main menu screen. I am using DFX 4 with a custom menu screen, rather than a clock or other. All I did was relace the clock with J,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx for album art.

WIth the august release I had no problem. With the 9/22 release the album art will come up with the first song, but when it changes to the next song the album art disappears. I uninstalled rr 9/22 and reinstalled, then reinstalled 9/22. I then uninstalled 9/22 and installed 8/1 rr and the issue is gone. I will post code etc soon.

I have included my rr.ini, the menu skin files and my exectbl.ini. Let me know what else I need to include to help trougleshoot.

the dll looks up where ur device is on the mixer by the words "FM Radio"
so u need to have your audio line in called that so it can pick the right one
and not have more then 1, or it might pick wrong...
same as the last version (not including the dshow version) but that did it close to that

make sure u do have the newest .dll, i hope u didnt try to use the one in this post before i nixed it

I use internal audio, not Winamp line in. Problem is that I don't have FM Radio in Windows (XP) mixer or RR config??? Now Silabs plugin pick up my microphone I have newest .dll but if I replace it with earlier fixed versio it works fine. In device manager Silabs is USB composite device.

Also Sel.bmp goes under the transparant part of the PNG (the transparant part is always displayed black..not transparant)

Yes, BLACK is the transparency color for folder/media icons on Standard lists, so to be consistent, it's also the transparency color on icons of iLists.

rrconfig doesnt look at CAPTURE(recording) devices...

microphone?

look at the recording side of your mixer devices
devices, u should see FM Radio

on XP i do!

mixer-options-recording, mixer device FM RADIO...

and i just tested the DLL, works perfectly
listening to radio now

also when u say, not working.. are u just talking about audio?

Ok, I get audio now if I select FM Radio as default recording device, but it's bull! microphone has to be default rec device because I need it with phone.

im still not convinced your looking in the right spot in the mixer
its accessed via OPTIONS MENU, PROPERTIES item
then select radiobox RECORDING
and use COMBOBOX, to list your devices...

and if u dont have FM radio, what do u have... cause thats how we need to capture
