PC restart when open IG4 After udated

okay first let start by telling you my setup.
pc= xpc mobo intel core duo 2.4GHz
os= window xp sp3
usb live sound card
front end= Ride Runner ( recently update )
skin= Ranger
I don't know if it my computer or it happened to some of you too. my IG4 or my computer was running find when I used to run the very Old version of Road Runner until I recently update to the new july 2009 update. the problem was, every first time when i open my gps/IG4 in RR my PC is completely turn off and restart it back up as normal. then if i go back to gps screen again it work as normal. or some time it would work fine the first time when it started the gps/IG4 then after a while the pc shot down it self again. but if i'm just in the main menu listen to music or watch video is fine. the only time my pc shot down it self is when i used gps/IG4. No matter what skin i used and update all the flash and .net frame work, still shot down my pc in the gps screen. iether on the first run or in the middle of it. my cpu load only at 1-6%. i had try reboot my computer fresh hope to solve the problem but no luck. Any solution or ideas?

I'm getting the same problem. DFX4 new RR update.

so I'm not the only one. I also update to 8-01-09 still have the same issued. What's going on? I can't figure it out.

im having a hard time following your issue...

are you saying when you run IG4, your pc randomly shuts down?

Yes, I used to have the old RR version and never had a problem as soon as I updated RR and use IG4 it shuts down then power back on...Also, when exiting IG4 and hit menu button to go back to DFX4 main menu it ALWAYS brings be back to IG4 and opens gps again.

you use words like "it shuts down then power back on"
im not sure what that means...
"shuts down" to me is a graceful close of windows...
where a "random reboot" is NOT

if you get random reboots when using IG4, try using IG4 alone...
also, look at the windows system event logs...

i dont know much about DFX4, its very complicated...
switch to carwings, and use ig4 there and see how it goes

Mine is shot down the computer completely and restart the window every first time I use gps/IG4. no metter what skin it is. i don't know there is a conflict between the new update with my PC when using the GPS. or the computer hardware it self won't work with the new update. I try many update, fresh reboot the hardrive still have the same issued.
