I wonder if the issue you are having is due to the comma system that is used in Europe being different to that in the US and UK.
The same cause which causing issues with TC and Caburant.
Try switching to US or UK regional settings as a test
Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Regional and Language Options --> Regional Options.
Drop down menu select English US or English UK
Apply
And then test Motion Lock. (and TC and Caraburant if want)
Ok,
I had changed my option language with English US AND.
It's ok for Carburant for the GPS's option but if i change the zip code , i have just the top left picture who change and never the other .
For the motion lock , i try the dll in the thread #50 , motionlock_debug_dll.zip i have always the same problem .
See my debug file
In the US is is illegal for the driver to be able to motion video in a car while it is moving. That is why most mini-vans have the screen right behind the driver, so the kids can still watch a DVD while the parents drive down the road. Making everyone happy, well until you've sat through the same cartoon 500+ times.....Unless he is talking about something more restrictive than that in Europe, that is a US law also.
It's law pretty much everywhere cars are registered. I still don't understand what's so hard about just using the stop button and not playing a video while in motion? Exercise a little self control, just because you can does not mean you have to...

I think the point is, in some countries and US states it is the law that Video should not be under driver control when the vehicle is in motion.
Yes the driver can press the stop button or not select video, however it is possible for the driver to be able to play the video therefore it would break the law.
IE it shouldn't be under the drivers choice to break the law but be impossible for him to watch a video while the vehicle is in motion.
I suppose, but it's the drivers choice to stay in his lane, stop at stop signs, or drive the speed limit. It's the drivers choice if he breaks one of these laws, so it's all about self control. My point is if you don't want to break the law, than don't run a video in your view while driving. It's as simple as doing the speed limit and stopping at a red light. No need for fancy programming to keep you a law abiding citizen, just common sense.

I am like you guys, I love to see video in a car , but , i think that to add just these possiblity in the last RR release would be a good idea . So any body can enable motion lock or disable easier .
It is just to have a feature who run always with any RR realease when we want this feature .
Me also , some time , i brake the low .![]()
Hey I agree w/ you guys, I was just pointing out why someone was seeking it. Some of us have no problems talking on the phone while driving, others, shouldn't have a license in the first place......
