the J command is not obsolete

Gizmo, launch images work for me... and should work from any path
"C:\Program Files\Road Runner\launch" should work fine

I noticed a problem with the last version of RR. For Video playback I use Media Player Classic and, only with this version, when I play a video (XVID high quality) inside RR the palyback is not fluid. Out of RR all is ok.

It plays fine in MPC outsied with the same Size/Aspect ratio ?? Please RESIZE MPC (do not put fullscreen) to see how it works. But I would recommend trying a different player for comparison.

Guino, another issue, I am using the DFX4 skin, and after the last RR update, the music label just appear after I enter the music.skin, and in the old versions, I can see the information on the menu.skin even before I go to the music skin.

How can I fix that?

Did you modify the skin ? DFX works fine here -- all labels show fine in the menu, maybe you want to post a screenshot of the issue so I can see it.

you can ONLY see TAGxxxx lables, for MUSIC(mp3s.etc) if ACTIVESOURCE is MUSIC!!!
these are shared lables, they change with differernt audiosources
ie... when in radio the show station names and artists...etc

There's no Winamp included anymore? I'm just trying to install RR on Win 7, first time, I looked for Winamp, wasn't there.

Should I install 5.30 now? Is it tested?

I'm thinking of skiping winamp altogether maybe, and go for WMP. What's the situation with Unicode with WMP, no issues?

Here's my similar scenario as marteline:
Using Latest RR 10/6/09
DFX4
On initial load of RR @ Menu skin
Using skintool:
Variable ACTIVESOURCEID=0
Label ACTIVESOURCE=No Data
With RRVoiceControl
Voice Command: Load Eagles
RRVoiceControl executes LOADLIST;C:\media\Music\Eagles to RideRunner
Album Loads, Music starts playing
Using skintool:
Variable ACTIVESOURCEID=0
Label ACTIVESOURCE=No Data
TAGXXX's on Menu Skin do not update UNTILL:
I goto ANY other screen (ie:menu2 or weather), which then sets
Variable ACTIVESOURCEID=5
Label ACTIVESOURCE=Audio

Shouldn't those ACTIVESOURCEID and ACTIVESOURCE update as soon as loadlist is called. It used to...
Or is this because of this change:
"LOADLIST" - Loads radio prests from file; "LOADLIST;presets.ini"
RR doesn't know if Loadlist = Audio or Radio now.
Why can't RR check to see if MUSICPATH is with LOADLIST
to update ACTIVESOURCEID and ACTIVESOURCE immediately?
????

Winamp has never been bundled with RR, as it is illegal to do so...but you can check one of the winamp versions to be downloaded in the installer and it will be downloaded at the end of the install process to your destop.
