Thread: Sound incredible loud :S

The INI is voltable.ini -- configures the stepping of the master/main volume control.
You can try setting a resume delay to see if it helps with the volume jumping on resume, but this is most likely NOT related to RR as it doesn't do any volume changes in resume/hibernation. This could however be related to the DRIVER of the sound card (and/or any sound/control application from the manufacturer that is running). Another possibility is that it is related to the PLAYER you're using -- which you can test real quick by trying another player.

I did not solve it, because i had a new system ordered at the time. My new system is also running win7 and does not have the same issue. which leads me to think this may be hardware related issue.

Any sound windows beeps, music, what ever comes out the speaker..

try playing a song in WMP, sleep, resume... what happens

I tried the wmp before to solve the issue, but wmp pause before hibernation. So you can't tell.
