RR 11/01/2009 Release

New RR release solved my video problems, if I use Build in video player or WMP. The second one has better quality, but don't go in to full screen when the controls are hidden. How can I tell to RR or WMP to go in full screen ?
The only bug I found until now, is the radioart not shown anymore in the CWD lite skin.

I'm running Carwings lite, embeded art and this build; this is what happens:

from the music browser i select a playlist, art appears fine in the audio player..
back one to main menu, art and track details are there no problem.
exit RR.
Restart RR - no art or track details on the main screen
from there, go to music player - art and playlist are visible..
back one to main screen - art and track details came back
exit RR
Restart RR - art and track details are gone.

It happens in LSX Void too.

Which skin ? Windows version ? WMP version ? Can you try a different player like MSVid to see ? and maybe a different skin ? never seen that issue - wmp player hasn't changed in a long time.

Which player are you using ? foobar2000 ? if so, did you adjust the buffer setting ? can u try a different audio player to see if it works ?

Using winamp 5.13

I don't have any of those other players so instead i'll go back a couple builds and see what happens..

i would hope that skins dont depend on any one player, but it could happen...

RR has its own internal playlist management

Ignorance is a dangerous thing. Search for "SmartPlayLists". And yes, skins do incorporate it, and it is Winamp dependent. Lots of skins from 2007/2008 use it. All my skins use some form of it just because its fast and easy (not to mention, the capability is already there in winamp, but that was before RRMedia plugin)

I agree here, my skin Ranger is Winamp dependent, with out AWRR installed , you would not be able to search,Rate, or anything, if you try to use any other player in Ranger (for Audio) half the skin won't work.

Skin is Carwings lite, Windows is XP SP2 Home edition, WMP version 9. Tried VLC and video freeze.

THIS IS CORRECT
when you restart, since you dont have it set to "RESUMEMUSIC"
(set resumemusic=1 or 2)
restarting RR, AUDIO PLAYER isnt playing, its at NO active source.. therefor NO info...
it was always a bug before, now its fixed(actually i think fixed in last months)

i didnt says skins dont use a winamp playlist
i just said i wasnt aware of winamp using a DB
im not sure anything called "SmartPlayLists" qualifies as a Database too

i dont use ANY form of playlists...
i just pick artist and album... and go
