DIMMER effect was lost when use visualization

Hello Guino,

The dimmer effect will be lost once display the visualization (command:VISU), Bug?

I have that issue too, I believe it has to do the the computer not redrawing quick enough.
The visu command takes a bit of time to load and that times out the dimmer. Or something like that.

With my setup I just turn the dimmer off then on again and it works. Though I've got a dimmer button on every screen so that works for me.

I think that it is not the redrawing problem. It seems that VISU set the dimmer itself which conflict with the RR built-in dimmer.

IF you have have a slow CPU and/or slow VIDEO CARD: Your machine simply may not have the capabilities to run the dimmer and visu at the same time. This however depends greatly on the VISU you're using and the hardware you have. My Pentium Centrino 1.2Ghz with Built-in video card for instance is too slow to even run iLists with the dimmer on! So I use gamma instead (and you may consider using that instead as well).
