My RRExtended plugin has a feature called Global timers. Can be set to only run once or reoccurring.

There's RRExtended above, then there's the TIMER event ("TMR" skin definition) and there's a "DELAYEXEC" command (which you can execute something after a certain time -- which can execute another DELAYEXEC and so on). There are plenty of options as you can see, but depending on what you want to do, you may want to use one way or another. If you tell us what you're trying to do, we can provide our suggestions.

whenever my road runner is running i need a command executed every hour or so. Its going to be an RRFUSION command that will engage a relay for a second...

Only downside of G's "TMR" skin def is that you have to be ON that screen and you would need to declare it on every screen to keep it running... a dash too much work IMHO for something that one wants to be "global" to any screen and always running...Sorry G!

yeah thats the problem im having.. ill just try the rrextended tonight

there is two projects that i need the timer for. One is to engage and disengage a "button" for a camera every 10 minutes or so...

the other one is to have RRFUSION measure the car battery voltage engage the inginition and start the car. Then after a given period of time lets say 10 minutes shut down the car and resume to monitor. all the electronics are already hooked up and working so now it comes down to configuring rr correctly

Ok, not a post of much help here... but one of curriosity

Why are you only engaging the camera every 10 minutes for only 1 second?

Also, is this battery thing for car meets or a show, so you can have the system on and the car off, and when it gets low it starts and charges itself?
