I just want to say Guino, I'm super excited to hear this news. It seemed there for a while that the community here was just an afterthought in your business direction. I'm glad to see that you really are listening to the (loads of) complaints about this nag.

That being said, how will it work? Serial number/registration based? Paid for app?

I looked around on the forum for more info about this, but came up empty.

    I can't wait.

Even I as a part of the Dev team, haven't a clue to the direction that he is taking with this... I'd image whats taking so long is coming up with a way to make both the end users and the investors happy. Or he could just be busy working on the Paid version..

Neither one.. I've been busy with personal stuff.. but I have already started to work on the reminder thing.. the idea is to make a simple application that you'll run once -- it will contact a server, verify your registration (on NISU's website) and you'll receive a "key" that you can put on RR.INI to disable the reminder.

Not too dissimilar to the one I do for my Centrafuse plugins which will soon be part of my RR ones. (although mine does it automatically as long as they are logged in and posted in a thread when then first run the app)

Out of curiosity, how would this be handled for a those of us such as myself with more than one car? Or would it make a difference or complicate things?

I suppose the key is individually generated for every pc. Did I get that right ? But I won't have to request a new key when I change hardware, do I ?

Don't worry about having multiple cars/computers - that won't be an issue.
The registration will be tied to the Hard Drive - You won't have worry unless you change the hard drive (which basically means re-installing everything).
