Hi all, what GPS software do you recommend that works well with Road Runner? Im in the UK and im ideally looking for one that has TTS and Lane Assist, but im not finding any. Thanks.

I don't have any personal recommendations for you, since I'm in the US, but I have been using Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010, which works just fine, but it isn't made at all for a touchscreen interface, so I'm replacing it. I just purchased Garmin Mobile PC, which seems to be used more and more by people on the forums here and I know that the interface is much more touch-screen friendly (although it doesn't come with an onscreen keyboard out of the box). From what I understand, the Garmin software is locked to a single computer, but you can contact Garmin to reset this every six months.

Garmin Mobile PC (European version: 010-11018-01 ): https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=139&pID=13484
Autoroute 2010 (European version of Streets and Trips): http://www.microsoft.com/uk/homepc/a...e/default.mspx

I actually thought the same thing for some reason until I reread the original message, but I think the original poster is interested in GPS software, not hardware.

i think iguidance integrates the best. its not bad gps software either, its always got me where i need to go. the POI are somewhat outdated though, i think garmin does a better job at keeping everything current

I have been using PC Navigator/Mapfactor. It works really well and have used it traveling from the UK to Europe without any problems. It has the lane assist and much more, the post code lookup and 'find nearest' for instance. The price is resonable for all of Europe maps.
