"Subscript Out of Range" Error During Video Playback

Anyone know why I might be getting the following error message during video playback (media player classic)?

    Run-time error 9
    Subscript out of range

On two out of three of my computers this error message appears randomly after a few minutes of playback. When the message appears the video continues to play, but all control is lost. It happens with both the DFX and Carwings skins so it doesn't appear to be skin dependent. RR version is 02/01/10.

I did a search and saw that a couple of people have received this error message before and blamed it on sound card issues. I have tested with multiple sound cards, both onboard and external, and it happens on both.

    Any thoughts?

Edit: Solution Found. It appears that the Video Player Plugin portion of the video section of RRConfig should be set to Built-In rather than Media Player Classic. This worked for me on both computers I was having trouble with.

Mitch, it appeared to be MPC rather than RR. I could hit esc and get back to the RR menu. All is working fine now, though, after I changed the video preference in RRConfig per my original post.
