Thread: HD radio questions..

I just upgraded to Win 7 and RR 03-01-2010 on my truck PC. I was still using RR from late 2008, so a lot has changed.

I noticed that the top line in radio.ini now has 3 variables. It looks like it saves the radio frequency twice and the maybe the HD sub channel number? Is RR then supposed to tune into the correct frequency AND change to the last saved HD sub upon restarting? Mine doesn't. Am I missing some setting in rr.ini or maybe a command in the skin?

Also, for some reason now when I use the "TUNE" command to bring up the NUMOSK, the contents of the RDSNAME label are already entered in the window. I have to backspace that out of there before I can enter a radio frequency.

Last, what happened to the "HDradio com port = -1" trick for desktop developing of radio skins. Now I have to go sit in my truck to test my radio skin.
