Yes it probably is a problem with DXF4. When I run RR using Carwings, the RRPL file info changes/or updates during open and close (ie. playlists work correctly). What is causing this problem in DXF4?

do a search for DFX4 and killwinamp, there should be a fix solution for it.

I'm starting to think that created more of a problem than it was suppose to fix...

someone clean out that, and post the corrected files

It was supposed to fix WA not closing sometimes when RR was closed and upon RR starting up, caused it to hang b/c WA was also hung with not closing

Yes, I searched and found out how to remove kill WA from the exit_skin. Once I did this, RR would close and keep my playlist as I left it. Only WA still keeps playing if I just exit out of RR. I am OK with that for now, as most of the time I put it into hibernate. But I think there is another item somewhere else in DXF4 causing this. As I said before I am building a new carputer, my current setup will not play nice with audio & on board video ( a system conflict not listed, and can't find it). And on my current carputer, it has the kill WA in the exit_skin. When I exit RR, and then restart RR my playlist is as I left it. Also WA is shut down correctly.

Can I copy the DXF4 directory from my old carputer, and paste it into my new carputer? This could possibly bring in all the config files, to see if some setting somewhere might shut WA down as it should.

there is an option to KEEP WINAMP open after exiting RR, make sure you dont have that on
