Songs Not Showing in Album Folders

I just installed Road Runner (Ride Runner) what ever its called now. Im trying to figure out how to set it all up and cannot get the music to show. It shows all of my artists and albums but not the songs. Im running Windows 7 and just downloaded RR and WinAmp so I think theyre the latest. If anyone has any idea it would be a great help.

Check THIS thread, and look at post #2 (mitchjs).

Open your rr.ini file in Notepad, and insert the string he posted, adding your format extension (.m4a) to the string (and, any other audio file extension that causes problems for you).

I had the same issue with flac files not showing up or playing, even though the artist/album would show in the folder list.

Let us know how it goes!

Okay thanks I can see them now. But they will not play. And I cannot change the volume inside of RR. Is there something messed up in the config maybe? Or is there a problem with RR and Win 7?

Don't know what to tell you, there. Sounds more like a problem with the player you're using. Double-check your config, and make sure the proper decoders are loaded in your player.

It's not a Win7 problem... I'm using RR coupled with Foobar2000 in Win7x64, and it runs fine.
