well since ur trying to use the default carwings lite as YOUR skin...

try this... go to the skins directory, delete carwings_dynamic_lite folder
re-install RR (NEWEST), and i bet it all works

Well it might be a problem with the skin but I tried deleting the skin and reinstalling it and it didn't work. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still doesnt work. However when I used a different skin Elite the buttons worked.

something is messing up you exectbl.ini translations
did u look in the global exectbl.ini?

like i posted, ur missing the closeing $ on the var

Hi,
I upgraded from July 2010 to the current Oct 2010 and I noticed two major things...

1) On my touchscreen, I can no longer touch browse my playlist. I used to be able to touch and slide up or down and the list would freeslide for a while. it doesn't work at all now.

2) most of my music videos do not play anymore. both WMP and winamp can play the videos fine. I'm using built in player for video.

I'm using the elite lite 1.6.6 skin but the only reason I upgraded was to get rid of the nag screen, now i've broken half my stuff

is there a way to d/l the old version again and turn off the nagging?

hardly half...and so little changes from july to oct
so.. im sure you can get it working right...

touch/side up and down still works perfectly
make sure you have settings right...
usedx=true
for one...
then review you debug.txt too...

check for the videofile types setting in RR.ini
old versions ignored this setting
EXAMPLE:
videofiles=mkv,avi,ts

and the audio files too, if u where trying to play video from the audio browser!

Speaking of lists, another thing that I am seeing is that I can't select a list item by tapping. I need to tap on it multiple times to select it compared to clicking once with a mouse.
