I would like to share my experience with you.
Installing december version on a clean windows 7 system and the audio resume wasn't working. On video skin the play button wasn't there, but in rr.ini all the settings were present. After some days of profanity, I saw in the riderunner profile folder that cache folder wasn't there. I created that folder and a resume.ini empty file (probably not necessary, only the folder was) and audio resume and video player started to work. Perhaps it's just me, but reinstalling rr didn't solve the problem of the missing cache folder.
the cache folder is created "on demand", by riderunner, the installer would not create it...
if there is a permissions issue (NOT LIKELY), and rr cannot make the folder and its files, you would have a problem
this is all ASSUMING you in PROFILE MODE, and didnt uncheck the option(which wouldnt make sense to do a legacy install, prob shouldnt even be allowed)
I've seen others with the "cache folder" problem (after my post :eyebrows:).
Thanks for your work mitchjs.
yep, all fixed
you can manually create
Cache in My Documents\RideRunner
