Thread: how to preview video in brower screen

You can make it display an image representing the video (like an album art).

If you're asking about actually playing the video on there -- this feature currently does not exist, but could be added .. the main reasons of it not being implemented (yet) are:
-There's normally a video playing in the background of audio_browser.skin
-There's no skin made with anything like that right now.
-Most slower machines will suffer from it because of the time it takes to preload the video each time you click on something -- regardless of the video player you use.

Another way , but not exactly that you want is to use the album art option.
So, if your video name is Cars.avi , just add into the same folder a Cars.avi.jpg file

use's custom list , and you can download info for the video selected in list ,its saved to the named video folder , and is recalled,,, and most of all

It Has Video Preview

Liquid Smoke did something like this with his skin if I remember correctly. He did it by embedding MPC on the right side of the list. To keep from loading every video there like Guino mentioned, there was a Preview button that needed to be pressed to play the video selected in the list.

well my dear MOD, LS did have that feature on his skin, that's for sure, BUT once again you are wrong, i did that script for him, as i did some for other people who has really bad memory, or choose to have.

Wow, you really are just a bitter little person aren't you?

He told me that he wrote the script, and I believed him, sorry about that. Back at the time, I was working a lot with him on some modifications to both his skin and mine. We collaborated on a lot of stuff, and I do remember clearly that he said that he wrote the script. He shared the code with me, and between the 2 of us finally got it to work correctly. There were all sorts of complications from going to the video screen, and having that playing, when going to the browser screen. He had to put a ton of logic and scripting in there to get it to work.

well, my big Ripper Man, i know what i can and if you want proves use youre MOD super powers, and you'll find right here on youre forums, that it was me who did, i even created a thread about the release, true back in those days, you and LS use to chat, i did too, ooh and between all those sources you mind find more, like taskmanager, a simple script yea, you want more proves, is here as well on youre forums autoit yes, old yes, i care?, you can keep all the glory.

Wow, have you been drinking or something? I can hardly make out what you are trying to say...

All I did was mention that LS had something like that in his skin. With my "Mod Superpowers" my intent was to simply help the original poster with his question, plain and simple. I figured he could download LS's skin, and have a look at how he accomplished it. It's called trying to help someone with a question, and not clutter the thread with meaningless ranting. and it was ME ME ME posts.

If you wrote the script, then good for you! I was just told by LS back then it was something he put together. I had no reason to doubt him, or at least so I thought.
