Yea I'm ordering one or two this week.. I think the only thing that would be nice for me is if the relays were bigger than 1A. Other than that looks great.

they 1amp @ 24v (so 2 at 12)... but 1amp is enough for 95% of the jobs, if you need more, like to drive a motor, you should have it drive an automotive relay
    -Thanks

i picked up a pack of 10 relays and sockets for $19 from a stateside supplier on ebay. there are 5 packs out there too.

i have 4 of the mjs usb-io's (may be adding another one) and they are working flawlessly in riderunner with the joycon exr connected. (no compatibility issues)

Ohh that's good to know. I wanted to run two monitors @ 1A each off one relay. Looks like I can do that after all.

This may be a stupid question..

Say I take +12V from my DC-DC PSU and feed into one of the common ports, then out to my monitor. I would connect the monitor ground wire back to the ground at my DC-DC PSU correct?

But what about the monitor ground? Is it automatically grounded back to the DC-DC through the USB port (since it is also powering my CarPC)?

where ever u get ground from now...
i dont know anything about this monitor, but if it has power wires, one is ground...
if there is isolation from the power supply, use its ground, else any ground will do...
    -Thanks

Nowhere.. New install that hasn't made it too the car yet.

I'm just powering my MiniTouch 700 monitors off my Opus DC-DC powering my CarPC as it is more reliable power. I'm just unclear on the ground.

I don't know if I should ground the monitors to chassis or back to a ground wire on the DC-DC, which in turn is grounded to chassis.

ok, if the opus isnt isolated, then its ground is chassis, therefore, just ground the monitors to chassis
