How to install skins? Skins Folder?

Hey guys, I just downloaded a skin, and downloaded RideRunner last night.

FOr the life of me, I can not find out how to install a skin. I see the mention of a skins folder, but I cant find the folder ANYWHERE in RR.

Im very computer illiterate, can someone explain to me (very slowly lol) how to install a skin?

I would be forever grateful!

Thanks, but there is absolutely no folder named 'skins' when I look in RR.

Am I doing something wrong?

As for searching, I did, several times, but can't find anything related. Searched here, Google...nothing. Believe me I know the importance of searching...I own & run several forums, and have owned over 30 of them in the past 12 years. lol

Any other ideas?

Did you read the first link?

If you selected profile mode, then the skins folder will be in your documents --> riderunner not in program files --> riderunner.

did you actual select the Carwings_Lite skin in the installer when you choose what you want to install, if you did'nt no skin folder will be installed.....

depending on what OS you are useing will depend on where the this folder lies.

in XP standard the folder named "Skins" needs to be in your Riderunner folder
win7 or vista in MyDoc's Riderunner.....

My bad, I found the folder now. Pasted the skin folder in there, but now what? I re-read that post, but still cant figure out how to get the skin working. Its in the skins folder now, but the default one is still coming up in RR.

use rrconfig in the skins section ,use the drop down to select the skin you want to use

In the default one, press and hold the tools button (hammer and screwdriver cross thing) at the bottom for about 2-3 seconds and a skin selector screen should come up.

Quick question... Got the skin to work, but now theres now way to go back to the default skin, or any other skins? Theres no more 'hammer & screwdriver'...
