I realize this guys, that was a bad sample to post. That was the original M3U I have for my other winamp instance on another PC. I was posting to show structure, wasn't clear what you were looking for in that. The m3U's I am having issues with are of a Mapped Network drive and not a server domain over the network. I created the playlist in winamp by adding my desired tracks to the que and saving the list. Again, haven't ever really made a playlist any other way. I also tried doing it through RR and saving it but still came up with issues.

    This is the actual:

    #EXTINF:368,O.A.R. - Dareh Meyod
    M:\O.A.R_\34th & 8th Disc 1\O.A.R - 01 - Dareh Meyod.mp3
    #EXTINF:405,O.A.R. - About Mr. Brown
    M:\O.A.R_\34th & 8th Disc 1\O.A.R - 02 - About Mr. Brown.mp3

My new winamp instance was some how corrupt. Still had issues with playlists. Winamp alone had no issue loading and playing but RR/Carwings/DFX did. It would load, cycle the titles, but not find the files. I made sure m3u is in the RRconfig extensions. To avoid headaches but give up a little convenience I moved my music to the local disk of the PC in question and all is well. I appreciate the help and responses. Maybe if I get a little more patience down the road I'll find what the exact issue here was.

Oh boy...I really hope and doubt I am telling you RR cannot find what you say. In fact, after placing music localy, and creating a play list, I ran into the same issue. So I don't believe it being over the mapped drive is my issue now. This baffles me. I have never had an issue of this sort on my XP machine in the car for over 5 years. The worst is over though. For whatever reason who knows RR in the music browser is able to load and play the playlist's just fine now. God only knows what I did or what it was. Only issue now is with RRmedia "Virtual CD player". If I send a playlist to disk, when I try to load it, same thing, no found files and cycles the names, no music. That's for another day. Thanks again, very much.

This is causing some hair loss.Play All.zip is an attached zip of a play list having issues. It was created in RR. I am using a larger monitor right now so when RR starts I can see the winamp playlist window. When RR(Carwings) attempted to load the playlist it again cycled through playing nothing. I closed RR and opened winamp alone, loaded same playlist and it played just fine.

tell me more about the M drive

    is M:\10 Years\ a legit path

    i created...

    M:\10 Years\The Autumn Effect\10 Years - Wasteland.mp3

(yes M for me is a network drive on a server)

    and it works fine!

RR loads it, into winamp and plays it... (no issues)

since its Mapped drive what about permissions, the user who launches RR needs to have permission to access that network resource

---------- Post added at 04:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:31 PM ----------

not to mention u might want to rename the m3u to extinfo.m3u

    "Play All.extinfo.m3u"

---------- Post added at 04:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:33 PM ----------

u also dont exactly tell me how you are "loading" this list into RR
via audio browser? if so add1? drilling into pl? or loadlist
    -Thanks

M:\10 Years\ is a legit path, double checked.

M is a network drive from a home server.

The PC in question does have permissions but I am going to look deeper into the permissions policies and see if something is holding it back.

I am going into manage playlist and loafing it it. I also have tried sending it to a Virtual Disk of RRmedia.
    --------------------

Checked permissions and no issues there..

hmm, manage playlist is vague, sounds skin dependent... a log might help....
but id keep it simpler, and make a 2-3 song playlist... not that huge pl
use carwings, put the pl in the music path, and highlight it, and say add, that will load it into the audio player (via the add1)
    -Thanks
