What FM Radio with RideRunner?

Searched a few times, but i cant find particularly much.

Trying to sort out the radio functionality of RR, as one of the last steps in my interface. I have a Winfast DTV Dongle which does FM radio via the PVR app, but i cant see any way of integrating that with RR.
The other option which ive seen mentioned around is this USB Radio from Brando: http://usb.brando.com/usb-radio-ii_p1785c35d15.html
Not sure if there is a driver for that, or whether that model uses the Silabs interface.

Are there other options?

that one isnt supported directly in RR...
if in USA, Directed/visteon HD Radio
if out side usa... crap shoot... maybe someone can suggest... silabs modified? use the directed as am.fm...

that usb.brando.. looks like a clunker...

remember most usb ones, arnt really designed to be in a MOVING car

Yeah, outside the US. So the HD radio doesnt do me any favours.

$10 isnt too much to have a play around with it. Might be able to embed the app it comes with in RR.

DAB+ radio has just been launched in Australia.

if u want am/fm rds, the Directed HD will work for you in AU, it wont do HD radio but, it does AM/FM RDS, i have sold a few cables to AU guys!
no usb "stick" DAB radio is supported directly by RR... yea.. you could do a custom radio, and try to embedd
but its not going to be integrated with the other sources, ie mute, when going to music or such...
most of the USB DAB tv/radio tuners are BDA Drivers only...and dont support much radio control
now the manufacture can do a radio only .dll but would have to publish a API to it..
and none do so far

for DAB+ nothing is really out there for carpcs

That blue one i posted from DealExtreme seems to be using the Silabs chipset. Is there still Silabs support in RR? Or has it been taken out?

course silabs is supported in RR, why would you EVEN think it would be taken out?

Only reason i thought it might have been taken out were some posts from a Danish guy complaining that his Silabs receiver wasnt supported in the latest releases
