Actually, I tend to agree with this. I, for one, do not want to haul around a keyboard and mouse in the car to make changes to the system. Once I get the PC programmed the way I like and settle on the skin I will use, I will most likely never change it or need rrconfig again. However, if I am on the road and feel I do need to make a change, say to the speed volume settings or the day/night gamma, I will want something that I can use easily with just a couple presses of my finger on the screen.

These are the types of options that should be part of RR, either directly or via a skin for configuring the system. It has been eluded to that the rr.ini can be mostly embedded in a skin. If this is the case, then all of it should be done this way to make it easy to use.

But if there is to be a standalone rrconfig and it is being done in C#, then the designer needs to read the UXGuide and follow the recommended specification while laying out the controls in visual studio. Again, this goes to the mantra, "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right."

like i said, if you want to do it in a skin, create it... make a small plugin to manage some special commands you create to aid in updating the data and displaying it...
and do the skin, keep in mind, to do it all, there prob is 100+ settings
    -Thanks

also, other LABEL based commands are 1 bades, like CLDEL;1 would delete the 1st item in the list...

OK, if it's a new thing, then I bow to your decision.

believe me i didnt want to change it so fast, but blueZX3 and i talked it over, and it should be synced, and since the rest of the list stuff was 1 based, it became easy decision
    (its on ftp)

Cool for the variable LISTPOS, and thanks to bluezx3 and mitchjs.
It seems to me it is natural to be sync.

Hi, so i never managed to sort out how to get radio muted when i go to music/videos.
I installed winamp and am using the 'Ultimate radio' module.
what settings do i use to:
    1. Get the radio working
    2. have the radio muted when going to music or video, then unmuted when going back to radio etc?

I currently have 'listen to this device' ticked in windows mixer as otherwise i don't get anything from the radio. Is this correct?
    Thanks for any help.

Also with this new version will anything change for this?

NO, dont use listen to this device
that is NOT ment for anything other than diagnostic purposes

you need to set up RR to use the right line mute/unmute
since every system(well not really) is different...
and since ur win7 you need proper audio drivers installed
detemine what line you are connected to.. like rear green... or what
and get its number from debug.txt
    and put that in rr.ini
    example

    RadioLine=1
    -Thanks

trackpath is a overly complicated label...

not sure when you need the path to your file
LISTPATH var has the path to the list
with you can build a path...
this is of course at LIST selection time...

so... what do you need this for?

Added basic trackpath support when active source is VIDEO (the current PLAYING video)
    (on ftp)
