    I have an issue with the Custom List.

    If i want to save the selected line from a custom list i have an hidden character that is saved before my variable.

    I send my skin.ini file:
    As you can see , i have a hidden character between the = and the j of japan.

    I write my selected line like that:
    Code:
                Case "rrlanguage_select"
                    SDK.Execute("SAVETOSKIN;RRLanguage;" & frm.CL.Text)
                    SDK.Execute("SETVAR;RRLanguage_Info;The language is now " & frm.CL.Text & "||WAIT;3||RELOADRR")
                    ProcessCommand = 2
    I have the same issue if i use this line:
    Code:
    SDK.Execute ("SETVAR;RRLanguage_Info;The language is now " & SDK.GetUserVar("LISTTEXT") & "||WAIT;3||RELOADRR")
    An idea please ?

    I have the same issue with an autoit script !

    Pierrotm777, this is so out of context, without really seeing the contents of the custom list...

    but in skintool... does LISTTEXT have an extra char infront?

    a little off topic here:

    also keep inmind... UNICODE issue... CL support unicode
    TECHNICALLY .ini files DO NOT!!!!!!!! (one good reason we shouldnt used them in anymore)
    if your a plugin, consider saving your settings in xml...hell dont use vb6 as a pluing, use vb.net and then you can save them as settings class (xml)

    now something i noticed...

    avoid using SETVAR in plugins!!!!!!

    a better way:
    Code:
    call SDK.SetUserVar("RRLanguage_Info", "The language is now " & frm.CL.Text)
    ' best method...
    call SDK.SetUserVar("RRLanguage_Info", "The language is now " & SDK.GetUserVar("LISTTEXT"))
    -Thanks

    hey, that hidden char isnt hidden, its a LINEFEED
    which is what rr uses to divide LISTTEXT and LISTDESC
    I will double check rr, im 99% sure its not RR, or everything i did with CLs would be an issue
    and everyone else

    so.. maybe your putting the LINEFEED in there...in the CL

    I have found how to delete the linefeed, i do that:
    Code:
                    TextSansCR = Replace(frm.CL.Text, vbLf, "", 1)
                    SDK.Execute("SAVETOSKIN;RRLanguage;" & TextSansCR & "||SETVAR;RRLanguage_Info;The language is now '" & TextSansCR & "'")

    I have another issue with the RELOADRR command !
    When i use it to the end of my command RR give me an error and is killed !
    But when i rerun RR, all is ok !
    Code:
                Case "rrlanguage_select"
                    TextWithoutLF = Replace(frm.CL.Text, vbLf, "", 1)
                    SDK.Execute("SAVETOSKIN;RRLanguage;" & TextWithoutLF & "||SETVAR;RRLanguage_Info;The language is now '" & TextWithoutLF & "'")
                    SDK.Execute("WAIT;3||RELOADRR")
                    ProcessCommand = 2

    i wouldnt use reloadRR (EVER)... that would be a last resort command... specially tied to a wait...
    i would say the result of this is a bit unpredicatable
    i cant even think why you would need it in a plugin
    its gonna unload your plugin and all apps and other plugins, could leave the vb6 stack a mess too..
    -Thanks

    Question "Listen to this device" issue

    I too am having an issue getting the HDRadio to play if "listen to this device" is NOT checked. I have updated to the latest Realtek driver for my hardware. The radio input is connected to the Blue connection which is line 1. I have the following in my rr.ini:

    [Radio]
    radio=HDRadio
    allowallfreqs=false
    radioline=1
    uselineinplugin=true
    lineinpar=line://title=Radio,srate=44100,bps=16,nch=2
    uselineinsingleinstance=false
    userbds=false
    RadioPort=1
    HDRadioType=Auto

    From my debug.txt:

    Start Sequence: Starting Radio Device...
    HDRadio---> HDRadioPowerOn: MyHDRadio.Open
    Start Sequence: Starting Serial Devices...
    Start Sequence: Starting Mixer...
    VMC---> Set object successful
    VMC---> SOURCE: Mixer line #1: "Rear Blue In"

    Am I missing something?

    Thanks!
