well in rr.ini for dvd:

now if you put the MPC-HC.exe OUTSIDE of RR root dir... then u need:
MPCHCPath=C:\Program Files (x86)\RideRunner\mpc-hc.exe


then here are some key settings(example on path):

DVDPlayer=MPCHCVidRR
RRDVDDrive=D
RRDVDFoldersPath=E:\_RideRunnerTestMedia\DVD\
RRDVDBrowse=False

for iso (example only):

RRDVDISODrive=Z
RRDVDISO=C:\Program Files (x86)\Elaborate Bytes\VirtualCloneDrive\VCDMount.exe
RRDVDISOMountCmd=
RRDVDISOUnmountCmd=/u

Here's what the rr.ini says:

The mpc-hc.exe is in the same folder as riderunner.exe at c:\program files\riderunner\

What is the RRDVDFoldersPath point to? I have no E:\ drive and my DVD drive is D:\

With the changes you mention above, when I click on DVD in carwings, I get a Media Player Classic dialog that says :
Unrecognized switch(es) found in the command line string:

C:\Program Files\RideRunner\mplayerc.exe /fullscreen /slave 132012

That looks a bit confusing. This is the rr.ini settings I have when I get the error above:

you do have some mixed settings...

use what exampled, and put in your drive and path settings!!!

make sure you dont have any duplicated settings...

since u got both videoplayer and dvdplayer set to MPCHC, you wont run mplayer.exe (hell delete it...)

RRDVDFoldersPath is a path if you are going to use NON physical DVDs

like

d:\Media\DVDs\

and in this path you have say

Spiderman\VIDEO_TS
blabla...

or iso

Spiderman\Spiderman.iso

It is not clear to me whether or not the entries in the rr.ini under [Extra's] are used for the DVD playing or not. I added the above commands, but when I ran rrconfig to change something else, it moved the DVD entries to the [Extra's] group.

So, I moved the entries you supplied as follows:

I also deleted mplayer.exe from the RideRunner home directory.

When I click on the DVD button in carwings, it clears and I get -4:3
in the upper left but the dvd does not play.

Note: the RRDVDDrive is correct as F as I checked my dvd drive in My Computer. earlier I stated it was the D: drive and that was incorrect.

it doesnt matter where in the RR.ini the entries are...

but you dont want duplicates!

if you want, attach your rr.ini here (ATTACH) .zip it...

Attached is my rr.ini.

Well, the only thing I found was that the setting "mpchcpath" was set and was said to only set it if your mpc-hc.exe resides outside of RR's root. But that is about the only thing that I found when looking at your rr.ini
