Last.fm Plugin Request

I do not know much about computer programing. However I think this plugin would be a great addition to RideRunner.

Last.fm has a desktop player. All the commands in the program have hot keys so the commands are not really an issue. I would like a plugin that can get get label information from the program.

I found the last.fm API http://www.last.fm/api

Don't know what any of it means but maybe someone else might. Guess the desktop app in my previous post wouldn't be required with the API coding.

i was planning in doing something with last.fm, in my BASS PI, but i decided to go with shoutcast, true that last.fm has an api very easy to work with for sure, BUT is not free.
dont know how manny people will use it, if more people wants it, i can create a PI, NP.

What do you mean it's not free? You have to pay to use their API? I know the last.fm service is free.

maybe im wrong, but last time i tried to access last.fm, i saw some where, that i could use it for some days only, like i said, maybe im wrong ...

and im really lazy with those register before use ...
