    Phone Support

Ok, I have been away from the forums for a while except the last month or so and have been searching. I still use the old BMV2 skin. I used to use phonecontrol until everything with that blew up with that and changed phones that couldn't get it to work with anyways.

Fast forward many years to the present. The only thing I see now is mobilephone.net right?

I downloaded Centrafuse a couple days ago just to see what that is all about and it recognized my phone right away. But hate you can't do a lot of stuff with a remote control.

So I am sticking with RR

So if my phone works with CF & bluesoleil in theroy it should work with mobilephone.net right?

I installed the mobilephone.net plugin (had trouble registering the dlls but got I guess it is registered now, it does not show any errors) In the Carwings Dynamic skin it shows it is running like it should. I also used the test phone skin with the BMV2. I got it to go to the phone screen page, according to the mobilephone.net instructions it says the far left button should be green and it is. but if I dial nothing happens, and also on the page it does not show the name of my phone like in the picture on the test screen pic from mobilephone.net thread.

I did not see too much about this problem, does that mean my phone is not compatiable or am I doing something wrong.

If I can get it working is there any way to still use the standard BMV2 Phone skins?

    Thanks

    I followed Lamosprit's thread here: http://www.mp3car.com/rr-released-pl...ne-plugin.html
I have it working with my HTC EVO. As long as bluesoleil is working it should work in RideRunner. I guess you might want to check Bluesoleil's website to make sure your phone is supported too.

What version of Bluesoleil are you running? You have the HTC EVO 4G? I never did see it on their website for compatibility.

Once I revive my carpc (I'm waiting on my new power supply to show up) I'll be able to see what version I have and I'll let ya know (I *think* its 6.4.249 but not totally sure)........ Yea I have the EVO 4g through Sprint.

Yea, last time I checked the EVO wasn't listed on Bluesoleil's website, but a lot of times some phones will work that they don't have listed.

I wish bluesoliel was free... I mean I spend enough on hardware and stuff... I tried the trial version. I'm not sure if it lets you do everything but I can sync my contacts to bluesoliel but I can't see them on RR unfortunately so I'm guessing my phone isn't compatible?
