    Hi Guino,

after a long try to get the Station Picture in my Skin i found the reason why it didnīt work.
The Files in the RadioArt Folder are named....Example 8760...10060 aso. with any commata.
So i think, the Basic of RR need a File without any commata.
The Variable of "FREQUENCE" or "FREQUENCY" is written in 87,6....106,6 aso. with commata.
if i compare both...the file without commata and the variable, the result is nothing. so it found no pic.
what i can do is, make a second part of RadioStation Pictures with a commata....
BUT is this what you mean ? or is there another way ?

i also try it to use the RDS PI information, but most stations have no PI or RR could not show them.

    regards

its cause you're in germany, you people use the comma where we use the decimal point

"frequence" should have a comma in it

    anyway...

commas or decimal points are NOT used to build filename

if the frequence is 94.1 or for you 94,1
    the file is called
    9410.png or 9410.jpg

    frequence 106.2 or 106,2
    10620.png or 10620.jpg

if the frequence is 610AM, its:
    610.png or 610.jpg

if you are finding this not the case, i can set my system to use (ugh) commas

also its VERY important when talking about radio to tell us what radio module you are using, example "SiLabs"

    (.png, .jpg, or .gif)

ps I tested with HD Radio & Silabs

    hi mitch,

at first...i use a ADS / Silabs radio.

all what you have written before is correct.

and you say it yourself....."frequence" should have a comma in it

Guino gives me for loading the RadioArt pic the line
    "SETVARBYCODE;CURFREQ;FREQUENCY".

this line means, load "Frequence" and shift it into "Curfreq". and it shift the comma too.
but in my radioart folder is no pic with a comma or dot saved.
for basic RR working it need a file without it. the dot or comma you build inside the RR code.

i dont want to change it, i only ask...is there a label or whatever where is written the basic form of "frequence".
as i take a look inside my radio.ini file i see the last frequence i used in my radio. is it possible to work with this value ?
and what is his name ?

    thanks for your help

    regards

i am at a loss, radioart is radioart...

there is no lable in rr, that doesnt have the comma or decimal point for frequency
if you want one, i suggest doing a eval on it, and multiply by 100

    "SETVARBYCODE;CURFREQ;FREQUENCY"
    "eval;LCURFREQ;$CURFREQ$*100"

LCURFREQ now would be as example 10610 if FREQUENCY = 106.1
