My RR is crashing on startup,

it says loading skintoon..

check your skin folder for a Skin.ini

its either missing or corrupted

A skin isn't required to have a skin.ini, and why i added that last part on the warning, "or not used by skin". Aside from that, I don't see anything that would cause it to not load..

I have my screen set as 800x480 (native res and display res) and I am getting the bottom part of RR cut off, even the startup screen.
During startup I cannot see the status display lines in the bottom right corner and on the RR screens I cannot see the control bar or the "more>" selection at the bottom.
I have gone into RRConfig and set display to 800x480x32, aspect ratio to 16:9 and I am using the Carwings default skin.
When I set the screen res to 800x600x32 all is ok.
What have I missed ?

telling rr to display that skin, at a resolution that its not designed exactly for...

in general.ini
for the skin, you will see
OriginalWidth=800
OriginalHeight=600
ShowWidth=800
ShowHeight=600

set showheight to 480

its gonna look out of aspect

I know this is going back a little, but would this be a possibility? I'm assuming this pic is a photoshop since I doesn't seem to work for me.

I's not very important but i have found a little issue with the GPS2City plugin.
Systematically , it create a GPS2City folder under the plugin folder and not a RRGPS2City (bad name plugin checked into this plugin may be ?)
