RR speed-based volume increase interferes with sat nav

If I enable the Ride Runner option to increase volume based on current speed, it prevents my sat nav (igo) from working. I think this is because only one program can use the com port at a time?

Is the solution to use a com port splitter?

That would be a good place to start. I'd say that almost all RR users that are using Nav in RR, use a com port spliter. Look for Xport, free and written by a long time forum member, Curiosity.
