My music playlist shows up on HD radio preset channel or sirius channels when opening

I just wanted to see if this is a problem everyone shares and if there is a fix. I'll explain what happens.
- I start my car, PC turns on, RR loads
- Once RR is loaded I see the main screen (Using Elite II. Had same problem with Elite lite)
- If I click on HD radio or Sirius Radio, the page loads but no sound and instead of my preset radio channels or my sirius radio channels, I see my music song list.
- I exit HD radio or Sirius Radio, and click on Music
- I then hit the back button (Don't have to play any tracks on the music or anything)
- I click again on HD radio or Sirius Radio and now my list of preset channels or sirius stations shows up and music plays.

Is there a way to fix that? I'm not sure if my description is helpful.

Also one more thing. When I start my car and RR loaded for the first time, "sometimes" if I hit the (Play) button on the bottom center, which starts the track on my music, and then click HD radio or Sirius Radio, then my preset channels or sirius stations shows up and the audio works fine. (This is not all the time though)

Also, when I start my car and RR loads (Same thing...) if I click on the music icon, it sometimes takes 4-8 seconds to load, where as other icons works right away when I click them

define "RR loads", i sense some resume/hibernation thing

as for the music 4-8 seconds, it depends on whats in the playlist...

and thats before i hammer you on, not telling us version of rr, os system...things like that

LOL hehe... My RR version I'm not sure but it's not older than august 2011. I'm using Windows 7 32 bit. I'm using the shut down mode. So when I turn off the ignition on my car, the computer shuts down completely. I don't use hibernate as it would cause issues with some USB devices.

ok, test with carwings...

and if ok, then its skin related, and we have to dig into those skins
i think there is some accidental use of rr internal vars, in the exectbl of those

Hey Mitch,
So I did as you told me, changed the skin to carwings. I tried a few runs by using the same way (Starting car, turning off car etc...) as I would with Elite and Elite2 skin and the problem remained. The exact same issue as with other skin.

so to be clear, with carwings you have the same issue?

id like you to install the newest RR, dont do any un-install
just install RR overtop of the existing installation

at this point i have NO idea what your issue is...
i would be open to live debug via teamviewer on your machine

Ok, I'll do the install of the newest RR. Is there another way to DL the RR without having to do the whole misu.com website checkout thing? Also not sure how I would go about just installing overtop? Do I extract and copy paste the exe file?

I'd be happy to help with the debug too, but what's teamviewer?

no, you have to download via nisu.com web site, just download the installer, and run it... click next, next, next... done...
teamviewer is a remote desktop sharing software
google... you would download the teamviewer quick support, run it on the machine in question
and provide me withe the id and password
when we both are ready to do this...

I have the exact same problem as above (win7 with music list showing in HD Radio and XM). It started when I upgraded to the Sept release. Please post when you determine what is happening or if I can provide more info to help. Weird thing is if you save a change with RRconfig it clears the problem for the next time you launch RR. Of course the problem starts all over again when you exit RR.
