Anyone who would like to use thier iPhone/iPod Touch with RR?
for media playback... ie you connect the iphone via USB, and RR will be able to play music
that is stored on it...
Im looking for a tester or two...even if you want to test on your desktop
just need rr and a iphone/ipod touch

yes.. you do... for the apple mobile device support .dlls
I've got a 3rd gen iPod Touch i can test for you mitch. Sucks hard that you have to have itunes installed though.

Maybe just the necessary DLL's can be extracted from an installation and copied over.

Well I'm not suggesting you distribute the DLL's, merely that if someone has the DLL's on one PC they maybe they can just copy the required DLL's to another of their PC's
and this is not a topic about if itunes sucks or doesnt... if you want to play music from the iphone in RR, apple mobile device support is required, and that comes with itunes... what you do to get that... is well.. what you do...
If that is all that is needed.... there is a way that one can just install the required apple moble device part only, just google it. That is the only thing that I have installed my carpc to be able to tether it for wifi in the car. No booated Itunes needed, according to mitch... Its fairly easy, just some simple instructions and your all good.

When Plugin external drive ..RR can detect automatic read media by extention type of songs? ( show notification yes or no to store its )
