Been looking around the forums and tried google, but drawn a bit of a blank on this one.
I looking for a USB am fm radio module that will work with RR, I've been reading about the "silabs" chip being supported but not sure what current manufuacture/models use this supported chipset.
Anyone in the euro zone help with this.
Thanks.

I've found an "ADS Tech RDX-155 Instant FM Music" on ebay but all the sellers are in the USA, are there US & Euro versions of this product?
There is only 1 model. Nothing needed to run it in the uk. It will work just fine. The hardest part of using that module is getting a good antenna connection. SNO
Farnell sell them
http://uk.farnell.com/silicon-labora...ick/dp/1186925
Unit Price: £32.53 + VAT
Expensive and you will probably be dissapointed with the reception so building a Venice 5, Venice 7 or Verona based DAB/DAB+/FM RDS radio might be better a option for you. You might have to build it yourself or get someone to do it for you.

wow 32.50 I just got one off ebay for £12.00 delivered from the US, reception not to bothered at the moment as this is just for bench testing, I need to look at adapting the Antena system installed in my Audi A4.
I do like RS & farnell, but there prices are shocking ...
Will take a look at the Verona, should be able to build one as long as I can get the parts.
Getting the Verona module is not that difficult, just find a radio donor that has a confirmed verona inside. The rest of the parts can be found in farnell/rs/ebay.
Get a V5 if you want slave, get a Verona or V7 if you want CB compatible radio.
hi guys, can you confirm it? is ADS Tech RDX-155 Instant FM USB 2.0 Radio working with RR, cheers
I can confirm ADS Tech RDX-155 Instant FM USB 2.0 Radio works ok with RR, you need to select Silabs radio when you install RR. ADS use Silabs chip.
Yo-yo antenna which come with ADS stick is crap, but with decent car antenna this can be a reasonable radio.
Though there is real car radio available, Directed HMHD1000I AM/FM/HD with MJS Interface Cable.
