    you can load a Playlist by name loadlist
    course you need to be sure your active source is the audio player

    i have no idea what your trying to achive... im just telling you
    there is no native ondemand playing of mp3 files
    mp3 files require decoding to be played, and thats what programs like winamp does

    if you wanted to play a mp3 file, i go to the audio browser, and pick it, and then i listen to it
    -Thanks

    Having an issue with some ID3 tags ever since upgrading. The TAGALBUM and TAGARTIST values are not being populated. I have the ID3 - Prefer ID3v2 selected in config which is what I had selected before. I also validated that the tag information actually exists...it does and always has. Is there something I need to configure or put in the EXECTBL file to get these labels to populate now?

    course not... thats not what exectbl.ini is for

    are you testing with carwings skin?
    double check your rr.ini settings (look at the actual file)

    [Audio Player - Tags & Formatting]
    UseID3=2
    ShowID3Playlist=True
    ShowID3Browse=True
    LazyTag=False
    ID3ListFormat=%title%
    ID3BrowseFormat=%title%
    NoFormat=False
    ListNumbers=False
    TitlesAfter=-
    ScrollMode=1

    OH and watch your plugins, a mistake or poorly written plugin can wipe them out!!!
    (u can always remove plugs temporally, by copying them out of the plugins dir (i have a pluginsdisabled folder for when i need to do that))

    Yeah I'm testing using the carwings dynamic skin. Also, validated the actuall rr.ini file and it matches exactly what you have above.

    I did though use your "Plugins Disabled" folder idea and found the issue. The RRVlc.NET plugin is the cause. Without that plugin loaded, the tags populate correctly. Once it is loaded they don't work.

    Thanx for the help.

    SD,00,02,50,50,"$RRec_Dir$","*.mp3",False,"(OPT_LO CKROOT,OPT_FILESONLY,OPT_LCASE)",,"PLAYSOUND;$LIST TEXT
    Is the OPT_LOCKROOT working? I'm using in pictures viewer but it seems to not work because i can go back folders, here is the piece of code under the skin:
    [ LIST ]
    S,90,119,290,230,,,,,,,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,#FONTTHEM ER#,#FONTTHEMEG#,#FONTTHEMEB#,True,#FONTSIZE#,"#FO NTFAMILY#"
    SD,00,03,22,22,"$PICPATH$","*.*","OPT_LOCKROOT","" ,""
    IL,DL,RGBFF00FF,RGBcfcfcf,,2,70,50

    There is something in the code that does not work or is a problem with the command?

    (in RR config i have checked: allow list (req directx 7+), swap iList L/R drag)
