I had that issue on one of my PC's and that was XP.
Can't remember what fixed it now.
Could be the playlist files m3u and m3u8 or possibly an extension association with winamp
btw the way your post read looked like you had upgraded rather than did a clean install of 7 ;)
Added debug and rr.ini in my original post. This is the 2nd laptop to have the issue. The first one is installed in the car and have been using the same music for as long as I have been using RR and DFX, since 2007.
I would redo the debug, but using carwings and removing all plugins from the plugin folder.
Is your Win 7 64 or 32 bit.
If it is 64 bit is your winamp in the Program Files (x86) folder?
if so you may need to specify the path to winamp in the rr.ini.

I'm having trouble getting medialaunch (usb music) to work in the new version, Is anyone else having this trouble? works fine in last months release

i cannot deal with them embedded into the forum...
also... i would disable all of the odd plugins...
including any possible added to winamp
easy way. just make a folder "plugins disabled" and copy them out of plugins
gpslockout, inetradiolabels, rrextedned, rrmediadb...
no idea what medialaunch is... but im pretty sure issue is unrelated to rr relase...Quote:
