Navigator 11 from Mapfactor

Hi there! I'm currently in the process of setting up my carPC, and I definitely need some help here! Hope you guys know how to fix my problem!
I tried configuring Navigator 11 (free version) into RR (skin carwings, for testing), but had no succes. Despite the four pages in this topic. Then I tried downloading the latest version from nisu. This gave me a dropdown with 4 options: MapMonkey, MapPoint, External, iGuidance. MapPoint. I think this is not the version which contains the MapFACTOR PC Navigator 11 support? Or am I doing something wrong?

it will be in the next rr, but u dont need it to get it working in rr now

I downloaded the september release and now pc navigator 11 works fine! Only one problem... The gps port cannot be opened (so my gps is not working). When i start pc navigator free om the shortcut on the desktop everything works fine.
Weird?!

Anyone had the same problem or someone knows à fix?

Your problem is that you need to split your gps port, so that two applications (RR & PCNav) can both use its data. Search for X-Port (free SW written by forum member), set it to the port that your GPS COM is and then spit into how ever many separate ports that you need. Open up the RR config and set its gps port to one of the separate ports, doing the same in your pcnav app. Then you will be all good.

I have a little issue with Pc_Navigator.
When i run it the first time , it's hidden, i need to return on the main menu and launch again Pc_Navigator !!!

how is it embedded on screen, i found best best.. is to not only use an A but use a C skin object definitions
due to how it embeddes
and depends on skin
parenting the window to rr, may help too
the AX is the solution with option parent

The difference between your screen is that i use AX,2,74,797,470,"OPT_NOTOUCH,OPT_PARENT" and you use AX,2,74,797,470,"OPT_PARENT,OPT_NOTOUCH"

order shouldnt matter, but who knows...since u didnt say...
but im not having any issues that its hidden on 1st show :)

Just noticed navigator11 has been upgraded to 12 anyone tried the new ver ? just wanted to check before I stuff my system up again :)
