The font you're using might not support the degree symbol. Change the font in DFX and see if it fixes it.

Could it be a corrupt font file or that Western ISO-8859-1 is not being used?

Otherwise if the extended ascii characters can be mapped:

    = 176(dec) 260(oct) B0(hex) 10110000(bin) (html).

See also howeird's http://www.howeird.com/charmap.html (not that the GUI is html, but it's a ref I've used for ages).

Sorry if this is way off. It's not my usual battery & electrical subject.
It reminds me of why I use "R" instead of "Ω" - apart from its ease, it's confusing seeing 100Ω displayed as 100W.

It could the way the text is displayed in the webpage.

the text will be web compliant which means they stick &amp in there to allow extended characters to display correctly.

May need to convert that in code when scraping the info.

I am having the same problem. Just started a few days ago. Nothing else changed - no change to fonts, etc. on the PC, no updates to RR or DFX skin, etc. Nada. I believe Enforcer must be right - there must have been a change to the data stream.

Can someone who understands the raw data coming down take a look and do a compare with older data? There must be something that changed.

I've tried all the tricks to fix the display to the degree symbol (), including editing the RR.ini, etc. (which should not be necessary to begin with given no other changes). It makes no difference. It is NOT a font problem! (at least that is not the core issue)
