I just received an email, and it looks like iGuidance is no longer a viable solution for CarPC GPS software:
Dear iGuidance Customers:
It is with great sadness that we have come to the decision that iGuidance will no longer be developed. We want to thank you for your support in the past 10 years as we certainly couldn't have done it without you. Special appreciation and thanks go to customers who purchased iGuidance since the beginning and continued to encourage us and supported us all the way.
iGuidance volume licensing for corporate and government entities will continue to be supported until all contracted map upgrades have been delivered.

I guess Map Factor will be the best supported solution for windows now.
But someone could always try to use Google Nav with bluestacks, or some other magic solution.....
TruckPC - gutted, being used for test setup
BoatPC - Update coming this spring
BlazerPC - PS keeps killing battery
Yea Yea Yea
iGuidance has been the defacto GPS for most of us in North America. It is tightly integrated into RR itself, so thought I would share the info that I got.
A search for iGuidance would be in order, IF someone knew to search for it being canceled in the first place.....
I guess one could just run across that other post if they happened to browse the Mp3Car Technical Hardware (Wrong location for the post I would think, as iGuidance is software). Then if you were in that subforum, and just happened to go into the GPS subforum, and then down to the iGuidance thread, one could easily find the post.
:P
