A few issues...
Well its all up and working and installed in the car finally, but I have a few issues that I am hoping someone can help with...
Using a fitPC3 running Win7 Pro
RR starts fine and I can use it all fine, but there are 2 blank windows which also open. That part doesn't bother me, just a little annoying. BUT after a little while, one (or both I can't tell as they both look identical) of these blank screens keeps briefly flashing over RR interface and disappearing again. I can solve this by closing them both once RR starts but this is annoying to have to do every time I get in the car. Any ideas what could be causing this or what the extra blank windows are?
This may be related, but the cursor (which I have set to 'hide') keeps popping up with the little Windows 'busy' blue circle. So something is going on in the background, but I can't figure out what. Again, not a show stopper, but annoying. Ideas?
Is there currently any supported android phone plugin available?
And probably not the right place but may as well post it with the rest of my issues, but is there any reliable working FM/DAB radio setup?
need more information, it could be some plugin, debug.txt would tell a lot, you could attach
also, test with carwings skin
Thanks, I will try to get the debug txt, I think I can remember how to do that.
Haven't tested with carwings but will do so tonight.
I had a closer look at the two blank windows and they are named RRvlc1 and RRvlc2, so something to do with VLC but I am not sure what.
Ok tested with Carwings... the 2 blank windows still appear and flash up randomly (RRvlc1 and RRvlc2).
I have attached the debug file (with the Reborn skin in use). Hopefully it is of use.
Thanks for the help,
well, you figured it out
RRVLC1 and RRVLC2
im not sure what is making them, that isnt part of RR's OFFICAL VLC plugin, my suggestion would be to try/use another video player
I still think nothing beats Media Player Classic Home Cinema Version
I did that and installed MPCHC (didn't even know this existed!) and the 2 extra windows no longer are a problem! :) Woo!
I forgot to check if the cursor was still showing busy signs but that seemed related to the vlc windows so I hope it's gone.
Now to work out how to get the phone integrated... not going to worry about radio as I have web radio working a treat :)
