    DAC volume unable to change

    Good morning,

A while back I acquired a HiFimediy Sabre Tiny USB DAC on the advice of another forum member. When I change the volume level the PC indicates change but the output stays the same. Since buying the USB DAC the supplier has put a note that the volume can not be changed with volume hot keys but surely there must be a way to change the volume from the system (the other member is using Driveline with no hassle).

Any advice would be welcome. Do I need to set something in WinAMP or RR?

    Cheers,
    Dave

I have the HiFimeDIY Sabre USB DAC ES9023 96Khz/24bit model, and it works great with Driveline, but as I just read this new "Tiny" model with the "- Volume level can not be controlled by volume hot keys (updated, it doesn't work in either MAC or Windows)" disclaimer is disturbing.

The original HiFimeDIY Sabre that I have accepts volume hotkey keyboard commands and I have them programmed into my Joycon, where they also work. I also have a Powermate that works with it too.

Does it work with a USB volume control like the Griffin Powermate or Fusion Control Rotary Volume Knob?
